The Acorn and Heritage View Suites are relaxed and comfortable and can accommodate theatre, boardroom and classroom settings. Both rooms can be set to your exact requirements and are ideal for presentations, meetings and training courses. Room hire is charged by the hour and a full range of equipment is available for hire, including: overhead projector; laptop projector; projector screen; flipchart (paper included); TV; and video.
The hotel is also licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Naming Ceremonies and Blessings in the newly decorated Heritage Suite. Ceremonies and blessings can take place any day of the week subject to availability. You are required to liaise with the registrar separately regarding the booking and fees.
A range of hot and cold refreshments and food can be provided to suit your individual requirements, whether it be sandwiches, a buffet or a meal in the restaurant.

Twin Oaks has their own professional disco service which they regularly use for parties, functions and weddings, with an excellent selection of music. You can use your own entertainment service if you wish for a small surcharge.
Only 10 minutes’ drive from Junction 29 of the M1 motorway, the Famous Shoulder is a 300-year-old pub set in quiet Derbyshire countryside. It offers en suite rooms with modern furnishings.
The bar serves light meals and snacks while the restaurant has a grill menu and offers a full Sunday lunch. Both use local ingredients and the bar features local ales.
A home-cooked Derbyshire breakfast and packed lunches are available. The inn has log fires in winter and free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property. Free on-site parking is also available.
The Famous Shoulder pub is 15 minutes’ drive from Chesterfield or Mansfield town centres and 35 minutes from Sheffield or Derby. Hardwick Hall and the Five Pits trail are within walking distance while the Peak District is 30 minutes away.
